Fran Snyder is wearing a lot of hats these days. Writer, singer, producer, musician, and personal chauffer to JPWilliams (but that's another story). O.K. - things could be worse. He performs acoustic music around the country and occasionally plays "songs for the immature" at his shows. Check his website to hear some of his "other" music. Fran also loves to wakeboard, run with his dog "Ringo", and make silly noises in his studio. |

Peter Moon laughs out loud and scratches his slick bald head. Fans describe his music as Matchbox 20/Tom Petty, but with the soul of James Brown and a voice the size of a small planet. "Once upon a time I was a tenured literature geek with a bank account" he says, (that's a teacher with money, kids!). Well, now he's a geek with SOUL, wailing away to start off the CD with Fran Snyder on "Zoo Cruise." And he really did see an otter and a seal at the captain's wheel. |

James Casto has played to capacity crowds at venues such as the Swallow at the Hollow in Georgia, the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, Kavehaz in New York City, and Uncommon Ground in Chicago. He is a 3-time winner in the Nashville Songwriters Association International-Country Music Television Songwriting Contest and has written commercial and special project music for Kroger, Mazda, the Georgia Special Olympics, Camp Hope, The Mikel Foundation, and Belanger Corp. His love of arctic weather inspired him to co-write and sing "Polar Bear Hug." He's very proud of the song, as he's waited 10 years to finally rhyme the words "snug" and "hug." Dream big, Jimmy. |

Dan Hall is a Michigan native who has been performing since the age of 10, pursuing various outlets for his surging creativity and unstoppable enthusiasm. His impish sense of humor, with a stand-up comic's sense of timing and an impersonator's facial flexibility, helps him connect with his diverse audiences. Dan turns up the laughter when least expected, and taps into the unrestrained joy that music - the best kind of music - can inspire. He's even co-created and produced scores for award-winning PBS television documentaries and recorded a commercial jingle or two. Dan co-wrote "Birddog and Dogbird" with his young daughter Megan, so he could pay her weekly allowance with her royalty checks. Smart guy. |
Dean Madonia |
After being forced into various lame-o bands with his father since age 8 (when he learned the piano), Dean began to plot his musical escape. Determined to write and play any kind of music besides the kind that his father liked, he secretly learned to also play guitar, bass, drums and to write his own music. Dean has been doing just that with numerous bands and as a solo performer ever since. Now, while shopping his music to record execs in his new Nashville home, he keeps asking them, "Have you heard about ol' Hugh Manatee?" Seems most of them haven't... |
Nancy/Auburn Moon Agency |
Nancy Oeswein has been an opera singer as well as a performing songwriter. She is a published writer and is currently working on her first novel. Recently, she adopted Callie, a beautiful baby girl from China, an experience which inspired "Callie's Lullabye" - the closing song of the CD. Now, as the head of her music talent agency, Nancy enjoys working with college students and incredibly talented artists and watching both learn and grow. She would love to talk to all of you, but she has 714 calls to make before the day is over, and it's already 4pm. |

Guitarist Jason Salzman was born and raised in NY and started playing guitar at the age of 12. After graduation, Jason moved to Los Angeles to attend the world-renowned Guitar Institute of Technology (GIT) and eventually studied with jazz guitar great Ted Greene. He's conducted clinics and workshops across the Southeast, and performed at many industry trade shows. Jason is currently based in Atlanta, GA where he maintains a busy schedule of live and studio dates as well as having a roster of private students. His star pupil is of course, Poindexter. |

Poindexter the Polar Bear used to be a very shy bear in the part of Canada that used to be called the Northwest Territory. Although he was born "small as a rat" he grew very quickly and he felt awkward about his size. So Poindexter stayed home a lot, did all his homework, and practiced his electric guitar whenever he could. Then one day there was a cold front that was sooo cold that all the bears were freezing - even with all that blubber and thick fur. The other bears all looked to Poindexter, the "brainy one", for a way to keep everyone warm. So he thought for a moment, and took out his guitar, and taught everybody the "Polar Bear Hug." Everyone warmed up, and Poindexter made lots of friends! Now he's the spokesbear for all the animals on "Five Little Monkeys and Other Kidstuff". How cool is that? |
